Random Reccomendations

HI PEEPS! So sorry I haven’t posted anything for the last week or so. I was busy with other things like Christmas. Yay! Anywaaaaaay…I’m still in MN and one of our flights just got canceled back to Georgia! I’m not sure if I should be exited or bummed. I had a great Christmas an today……………is New Year’s Eve!!!! Woohoo! My dad and I have this tradition where we set up a table with sweets and fruits and things like that and go wake everyone up at 11:something pm to celebrate the New Year! We get to do that tonight yay! Anyway, let’s get to the point of this post:

TV show: Avatar the Last Airbender

It’s great! It’s kinda anime and there are like people who control the elements and there’s an Avatar who can control all four of them. This particular series is about Avatar Aang and his team.

Book: The Siren by Kiera Cass

This book is like a romance-fantasy and Kiera Cass is like my favorite author! She is so fun to read! I couldn’t stop reading The Siren. I picked it up and didn’t put it down until I finished it (and once to help with the dishes!) It’s about a girl who becomes a Siren and falls in love with a boy but she can’t talk to him because her voice could kill him. And then something happens. But I can’t tell you because that would be a spoiler! 😜

Gifts to give to each member of the family: See below

Mom: Coffee mugs (if she likes coffee)

Dad: An DVD of a move or TV show he likes

Older Brother: A video game of some sort or (if he doesn’t play video games) clothes (coo ones)

Younger brother: Temporary tattoos or a remote control truck

Older sister: Jewelry or books

Younger sister: A camera that prints the pictures or drawing utensils

Anyone: A calendar for the coming new year

Sheesh I can’t think of any other recommendations…hmm… Movie I guess? OK

Movie: Frozen 2

Again with the elements. I love elements. I have to admit. Frozen 2 is actually somewhat better than Frozen.

OK PEEPS that’s all for now and happy new year!

Summary of An Inspector Calls (Spoiler warning)

Hey peeps! Welcome to today’s post! (That sounds wrong) Before I get to the point though, I have some news for you! We’re going to America for Christmas! Yep that’s right! Whoo! Our flight might get canceled of course but we have tickets and we’re leaving Friday morning! The bad news is, I might not get to make a new post next week but who knows? Also, I finished reading An Inspector calls! It was great for something so old. It was actually a school assignment for English. So let’s get to it.

When the rich Birling family are having a little party for their daughter Sheila’s engagement with Gerald Croft, someone arrives. He introduces himself as a police inspector named Goole and informs them about the death of a girl called Eva Smith. She committed suicide by burning her insides out with a strong disinfectant. He questions all of them and each of them are said to have something to do with the death of the girl. Mr Birling fired her when she asked for a raise. Sheila got her fired from her second job, Gerald made her think they were in love, and they almost were, at least Eva was but Gerald ended the relationship. He was supposed to be Sheila’s husband after all. Mrs Birling refused to help her as a top member of a woman’s charity organization when she was pregnant. And last but certainly not least, we find out that Eric was the father of Eva’s never-born child and he had been stealing money from his father to give to her. Going back to Gerald and Sheila, Sheila gives her engagement ring back to Gerald after hearing that he was almost in love with another girl. Gerald then leaves the house to go over his thoughts. Then, once the inspector finishes interrogating everyone, he leaves. Gerald then comes back saying he came across a police sergeant who says he’d never heard of an inspector Goole. Mr Birling calls the Chief Constable asking if the Inspector really was a police inspector and he said he wasn’t and he had also never heard of him. Mr Birling then calls the infirmary asking if a girl had committed suicide and the infirmary said no. The adults then said the inspector was lying and it was also possible that Eva Smith was not only one girl but many. An argument then breaks out on whether or not that night changed anything the old adults think not and the younger adults think otherwise. Then, A call comes from the infirmary saying that a girl, Eva Smith, has just died from strong disinfectant and an inspector is coming to ask questions! dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!

The Inspector might have been a ghost! J. B. Priestly said it himself that he might have been! I’m surprised at how much I liked this play!

Anyway, that’s all for today. I wrote a lot. Sorry if you got bored.

5 Ways to Decorate Your House for Christmas

A simple bowl, maybe the size of a large watermelon, with color-themed ornaments in it is a great way to decorate for Christmas with things that you might just have lying around the house

Putting a wreath or two up captures many elements of Christmas in one beautiful accessory. They’re also wonderful because you can decorate the house with them outside as well as inside.

Even though cookies aren’t exactly a decoration, they still bring happiness to the house. Especially if they have a specific Christmas design or shape. They also taste insanely good.

Christmas lights literally light up the house but they do the same metaphorically. You can put them around the tree, you can line the windows with them, there are endless possibilities and they are just plain beautiful.

Pine decorations like the ones in the picture, just scattered around the house can be the finishing touch, the key to a joyful home. You can put them on the stair cases, on the walls, in the kitchen etc.

Sorry if this was something you were going to recommend as a post in your email to me (more info in my home and about page) I just couldn’t WAIT! :3
